Before and After: Curing the Frizzies

Curing the Frizzies... First, use a regular brush to
get the bulk of the knots out. Then, use a fine tooth comb. Next, brush with a flea comb. Then, shampoo and condition hair and use a special anti-frizz product. I use a 3 minute mask conditioner and an anti-frizz serum on my doll's hair and it seems to do the trick.

Aztec/Mayan Doll

This is my one-of-a-kind Aztec/Mayan doll. She was originally a North American Indian doll.
I cured her of the frizzies and hand sewed her garments and headband. Her necklace is handmade also.
Her dress and shawl are linen I painted the headband and the stripes on her dress and shawl with acrylic paint. I also repainted her eye makeup and lips. Her belt is just a piece of twine painted gold.
